You're not allowed to point out my mistakes! I left you off the list because it was OBVIOUS you'd be in it...right? So now there's an even...10? Right, I counted good! Sjoerdje, as long as you get one post up this weekend, and then at least once a day is all i ask. That shouldn't stress anyone too much.

Far be it for me to rain on anyones parade here, but I think something needs pointed out. 10 fighters. First round decisions will immediately bring that down to five. How will matchups be made in -that- scenario? There's a reason I've always used either 8 or 16 participants

And then, Mr Admin, there can be a 3 way fight! ...
And on that note, I might not be able to make it in any case... Since the Hotel I was going to stay in in Berlin, might not have wireless internet... Even though I was under that impression.
so... If you dare risk it, then sign me up... If not, kick me out.

Idea! We can have two 3-way fights and 2 one-on-one fights for the preliminaries. Then all of the other fights will be one-on-one, unless you want a four-way battle going on. Basically more than 3 guys is last man standing. Or we do one-on-one, and the final fight is a 5-way fight, but that may be too much. But it may be screwed up if Smith can't fight.

Problem is 3 way fights almost never work out right unless you get a group of guys that are really good and will talk alot outside of the posts.
Then maybe.

Alright, fuck this. Tournaments are viewed as partially non-canon to the main storyline (or, at least, they don't necessarily follow the same time-scale that the threads do.), so I've got a new solution.
WE NEED SIX MORE FIGHTERS!
Wait, I'm going to volunteer Kazuki in. Ein's fighting, I can't NOT fight.
MAKE IT FIVE!

Throw Zack in as well, but even though this is non-canon to the storyline, I still cannot have the principal fight in a tournament... since I'm supposed to be almighty and stuff... which I am... you know... hence it's under my league... yeah

I knew it wasn't going to break cleanly, but I wanted everyone to be able to participate. If it comes to a 3-way, that's what it'll be. But glad to have you anyways, old man.
Not to rain on your parade Sjoerdje, but I think we're limited to one character a tournament. Big cheater.
I was gonna put the tournament up nowish, but Liam's convinced me to wait and try for 16, since it would be easier. If it comes to down to it, I'll put myself in somewhere though I'd rather just judge this time around. If we don't make it to 16 next time on, well, screw it and I'll find a way to work it out.

We should put up a list of all tourney winners, like the old board. But, then again... we actually haven't had that many tournaments. Hm.. we should be doin tourneys every month or two, but, anyways. If the list is made, would it be a sticky under Past or Current tourneys?

Past I presume, it's a list of the winners from past tournaments... you only add the current tournament winner's name when the tournament is over... which makes it no longer current...

In terms of Hircine Standards that's actually pretty easy Kei, as despite the fact that we've had more then a few tournaments, the same three people have won each one. Odin Reeves, Kyukaku, and Taiku/Kazuki.

... And considering the size of our fighting populace, that's likely not gonna change in a while. Look at international sports; the same folks typically win year after year until they lose their edge or come across the next hot shot - years later.
A list would be nice, but it might end up looking like one of those employee of the month plaques at a small business firm; the same guy every other picture, and with large clusters in a row.

Pshaw. The only returning winner in this tourney is Kazuki, and he's got as good a chance of losing as anyone.
