Charlotte grinned up at Tiao as she watched him leaning closer to her with every second. Giving a half-playful laugh, she whisked the hat from her head and placed it firmly back upon Tiao’s head.
“Alright, I guess you’ve proved me wrong; that anything can be solved with enough intimidation and force …” she paused. “And though I know I’d definitely beat you in a ‘lip-wrestle’, you have to earn that fight.”
She tossed a wink and shifted again, tapping the bill of Tiao’s hat twice, lightly.
“So what sort of things do you do when you’re not being a pillar of Hircine High?” Charlotte asked, deciding now would be an appropriate time to use one of the many ice-breaker-get-to-know-you questions she had long considered annoying, but had secretly always yearned to get to use.
“And never having chocolate before?” She shook her head slowly, almost incredulously, her bangs falling back in place to half cover her eye. “I realize that your athleticism must be extremely important to you and your family, but no chocolate? No childhood could ever have been complete without at least one taste," she urged, shooting Tiao a wry look.
