[OOC: People who weren't here for last school year's final events are not allowed in this thread whatsoever. I would appreciate only relevant additions to this one, as it's gonna bridge the school years for my character. Thanks.]
A large group of students stand on the gym stage triumphantly, despite being painted with the blood of their classmates. They hold folding chairs, trash can lids, microphone stands, and security batons, confiscated from the now subdued watchers. It seemed that despite the lock-down, the students were able to take final control of the gym once the final battle in MacMillan's office commenced.
Steve Barzahd had been protecting them in vain this whole time, whether they knew that or not. The trashcans with fake explosives now sat in the parking lot all by themselves. He had been made a fool of, and he was not happy. Still, he knew that there was this one final job to do. He approaches a familiar character, the football team Captain, a bloodied face that went by Scott Kinsman.
"We need to get these people out of here..." Alkaiser remarks, all business at the time. He can tell that his consort is happy to see him, and he is happy to see Kinsman in one piece as well, but Alkaiser refuses to let the people stay locked up anymore. He makes his way to the tunnel under the stage that he had been using during the incident.
From the other side, the doors open wide, and the students are coordinated out of the gymnasium and out of the school, following the freshman pillar. As the ones who can walk funnel out the doors, the flashing lights and blaring sirens of ambulances approach, and Barzahd sends them through the school to tend to those who could not leave under their own power. Some thank Alkaiser, others scowl at him, knowing that he was a part of the select few that brought this harsh end down upon the student body. Still, his face was seen by all as the one who worked to keep them safe in the end.
What troubled Alkaiser was the lack of pillarship that he saw. Blayne, Tiao, Nathan...none of them were here. Not even Shuya showed. Did they go out the back? Thinking further on it, he hadn't seen any of the tops in Revelation around either. Something told him that he had missed the true action and instead was left to be a figurehead for the pillars' best intentions.
The sun had come out and was looking down on the freed rebels of Hircine high. Barzahd begins to reflect on what had become of his school.
