It's easy to do when left open. Regardless, these reasons that have been mentioned is why I gave two seperate lists. Wasn't expecting conflict to arise from my opinion. I live to give opportunities. Anyways, I didn't mean for this to come across as conflict, more like another perspective. If it helps, I personally think that Best Tourney Fighter is closer to being Best Rp'er, rather than Best Fighter. No offense Pain Killer, but if that was true wouldn't Leon be the tournament champion twenty times over if he entered every time? I don't think so.

Hence why I said "closer to", and not "the same as".

Just because Leon posts epics doesn't make him a good RPer.

I've always thought that the best Rp'er award seemed to go to the people who were the best writers, which is another category. To me, I always figured the best Rp'er is someone who is a skilled writer, as well as a good fighter.

Shamino and Adam are both right. Just because I write well doesn't make me a good roleplayer. A roleplayer is someone who can create a character and act out their role appropriately.
Still, not big on being a roleplayer anymore, so I don't even care. I'd rather be a strong writer than an actor.

*nods*
For me, the reason why a "great RPer" is the best fighter is because of sportsmanship. (S)He'd know not to try a stupid counter and to just accept "the ultimate screwjob done to your character" while finding something later in the fight to compensate. It's to deliver a good show. Be yourself, try as hard as hell to win, acknowledge your limits, and keep everyone on their toes. That's what I think of when you guys say the better RPer would win fights, since some of the others don't seem to understand.

EDIT: Which is what the tourney judges are exactly looking for to decide an unfinished match.

If tournaments were decided on best Rper, I wouldn't have won. Auroth's a better Rp'er then I am, I'm a better fighter. That's were the lines were drawn. Going back to my first tournament, Aryck, AKA Dain, is a better Rp'er than me. I think I won it on fighting ability. Tyler... Well, probably about even in terms of Rp'ing, but I still kicked his ass... So eh. Kicked my ass eh? I remember you finishing that thread with a post that worked a hell of a lot on assumption. I didn't make it in time for the 24 hours, that was the ultimatum.

Moving back on one leg, throwing your other leg out, far into the match so your characters largest weakness comes into affect. No fighting knowledge on the ground...
Assumptions or not, I was in a much better position Tyler. Besides, your American, you can't use the word 'eh' and sound cool. Even over the internet. For shame silly American, for shame.
