Kyukaku took a step forward, shoving his hands in his faded jean pockets as his foot swung out. It collided with a stick on the ground, the dead wood breaking in half as it was sent several feet forward. A deep exhalation was brought forth, the muscles on his chest rising and dropping below his button down shirt. He paused a moment, looking down at his foot before spinning in a quick 180 and walking the other direction.
Kyu had been pacing for fifteen minutes or so now. He hadn't really been keeping track of time as it was. Kyu figured the breath of fresh air would help him clear his head as he worked things out in his mind. Typically, he would do this in his dorm room. Unfortunately, his dorm room had been torn apart. He hadn't found time to clean it up fully however, therefore it became more of a distraction than anything.
School, friends, his fighting spirit--they were all changing. Changing perhaps wasn't the right word, rather they were all fading. School was a drag enough when one had to worry about grades. When it became a constant day to day struggle of avoiding security, or worry about someone throwing drugs in your locker, it became all the more stressful. It was all the harder to deal with, due to his lack of fighting spirit lately. Many have been asking him for help, for his mentorship. It wasn't something he minded, but he had just been going through the motions. The own lessons he taught, he hadn't been following. With friends moving on and graduating this year, leaving nothing to protect, what was the fighting spirit to do but slowly fade away?
Kyukaku had seen this time and time again. Old fighters, old idealists, both would eventually lose their flare and move on. Was he simply destined to do the same? With little motivation to counteract a growing dissatisfaction, it seemed only a matter of time til he too, took a backseat in the events around him.

OOC: Because you demanded a post, here it is.
IC:
It had taken a long time for Pain Killer to find where his former roommate had gone. After all, considering his visit was going to be unannounced, he had no real knowledge of where Kyukaku had gone. Instead, he was forced to ask around to find the younger man, relying on directions such as "I think he went that way", which were only right half of the time. That horrible journey, however, had come to an end, as he could make out the form of Kyu up ahead, just ten or so feet away. Given the man's slouch, though, it appeared there was something amiss. Just as Adam came within six feet of the boy, he did a 180 and turned around.
"Well, look who it is, the sidekick himself. What's wrong, couldn't find your whore of a girlfriend to hang out with?"
Scowling, Pain Killer walked closer, waiting until he was nearly face to face with the younger man before suddenly thrusting his right hand forward in a quick shove to Kyu's chest. The sudden push would likely catch Kyu off guard, kick-starting his adrenaline from the surprise and driving the point home that Adam was pissed off with him.
"I keep waiting for you to do something worthwhile, kid, yet all I've seen you do is follow other people."
As fast as the first one had come, Pain Killer threw his left hand forward in another shove, clearly not waiting for Kyukaku to respond to any of his accusations before, but demanding an answer now.
"Well? Anything to say for yourself?"

As Kyukaku spun again, continuing in his pacing, he almost ran directly into Adam Rydell, aka Pain Killer. When Adam started talking, Kyukaku expected some sort of half assed insult. Instead, Adam lashed out with such harsh language and derogatory not towards Kyu, but towards Audrey. For the moment, Kyukaku couldn't figure out if he had become more angry or more confused.
He had little time to think about it however, for Pain Killer quickly thrust his hand out, shoving Kyu directly in the chest and pushing him back. Still confused, Kyukaku was pretty sure he was more angry. Soon enough the second shove came, Kyukaku more prepared this time and palming the arm to the inside with his own right hand. It was more of a strike than a deflection, however. While it was unlikely to do any sort of damage to Adam, the action would surely express that Kyukaku wasn't going to get pushed around.
"Then maybe you should look harder."
Kyukaku said first, flustered by being called a sidekick. While Adam said it on occasion, the origins of the nickname came from his more sadistic brother, Trent. Any correlation to that name instantly flared Kyu's anger, and while Adam had nothing to do with his brother, it still magnified that response.
"And watch your goddamn mouth. What the hell is your problem?"

"You're my fucking problem!"
Adam stepped closer, literally getting in Kyukaku's face as he gave his response. Despite the harsh words, it was difficult to tell just how far Pain Killer's anger went, as his face normally held the scowl he was giving the younger man.
"All I hear about you is all this 'great potential' shit, yet you've done nothing to deserve it. Who've you beaten, huh? What fighter of any worth can you say you hold a victory over? I bet you can't even name one."
Adam paused for a moment, giving Kyu a chance to respond while he also went over what else he was going to say to his former roommate. Truth be told, he was having trouble remembering it all, and found himself forced to improvise on the fly.
"But that's not all. Even with all this so-called 'potential', when things got tough, you took the easy way out. I heard of what you did to my brother. While he definately deserved what he got, the fact remains that you hid behind a gun. At least he fought you up close and personal. Is that how you're going to live your life? 'Potential'... shit, I've scraped better 'potential' off the bottom of my shoe, you're pathetic."
Pain Killer took a step back with his right foot, seemingly leaving, before suddenly turning back towards Kyu and whipping his right hand forward in a slap to the smaller boy's face, likely not damaging anything but Kyu's pride. Regardless of whether it connected, Adam would smirk towards him, openly disrespecting him.
"What? Gonna prove me wrong?"

At Adam's words, Kyukaku already began to mentally prepare a list, Dain Gavyns' name high upon it. However, before he spoke he changed his mind, instead directing his words another way.
"All of them." Kyukaku stated firmly, holding a hard gaze over Adam. "They all have worth."
Pain Killer wasn't finished however, as he continued to go over any shortcomming Kyu had possessed. Kyukaku's face quickly detiroated from being angry, all the way to enraged. He clenched his jaw, his hands tightening into fists before him. He could of told Adam how his brother had buried him alive, after Kyukaku had faced him on even ground. That was Kyukaku's mistake, thinking Trent would fight fair, and he was almost killed because of it. He could of said he did what was necessary, and he could of stated he took no pleasure in what he did. He could have, but he didn't.
Instead, when Adam turned to leave Kyukaku planned to just let him go, taking the disrespect in an effort to avoiding a more physical confrontation. However, Adam quickly turned back, slapping Kyukaku accross the face. He could have punched him as easily, but he didn't. Adam did this soley to disgrace and dishonor Kyukaku, and a passive situation would no longer be tolerable. Kyukaku turned his head back to Adam, who provoked him yet again. With the left side of his face red, he narrowed his eyes, speaking only one more time before bursting forward.
"That's enough."
Kyu's left foot forward took a stutter step forward, not gaining anymore distance but attaining more leverage. Kyukaku shifted his hips forward, his right hand blasting off it like a bullet from a gun in a straight punch directly to Adam's solar plexus. He was indeed worthy of the name Pain Killer, but when one couldn't breath, tolerance was worthless. As quickly as the punch snapped out, it snapped back in, intent on driving forward a few inches into the pressure point before returning to guard.

Kyu was fast, but Pain Killer hadn't been expecting him to stand by idly after such insults, and as such, was waiting for him to strike back. After all, it didn't take a genius to figure out he was picking a fight with Kyukaku. In fact, had the slapped not gotten the response he'd desired, Pain Killer was likely to take a swing at the kid.
The moment Tyler had begun his stutter step, Adam had instinctively drawn his right foot back, the beginnings of the stance he always used when fighting. This action would pull his right side back, causing the punch aimed for his sternum to glance off of the left side of his chest, painful but hardly impeding to his breathing. Resisting the urge to grin widely at the move, Pain Killer set out to make him regret remaining in such close quarters with the larger fighter.
His left hand rose from its position at his side, grabbing Kyukaku's torso at rib-level, his fingers and thumb digging into the younger man's body and giving him a decent grip. The moment such a grip was established, Adam would thrust his right hand forward in an uppercut towards Kyukaku's stomach, relying on his grip to keep Kyu from dodging effectively. Of course, the younger man would practically have a free shot towards Pain Killer's head, but should he take advantage of it, he'd likely take the full force of Adam's attack, and in a battle of attrition, the stronger, tougher male would come out on top.
That's it, kid. Let's see just how far you've come since last time.

While he was still at a loss to the why, there was no question in Kyukaku's mind that what Adam was doing was picking a fight. When Adam moved according to Kyu's strike, there was no surprise in the glancing blow. There was a firm grip on his right side as the punch came back. The hold was uncomfortable, though nothing overly painful. Kyukaku had fought, or seen Pain Killer fight enough to anticipate certain things. When he had a hold of someone, a follow up strike was always one of them.
Kyu's left hand opened up below his jaw, his palm pushing down as his elbow would point to the outside. As the uppercut came, Kyu's left palm would push down on Adam's large bicep. Well Kyu would never be able to out muscle Adam, he didn't need to stop the attack as much as he needed to slow it down. As he pushed down with his hand, Kyukaku pushed up on his toes. In combination with the left hand, Kyukaku would push himself almost off the ground, his toes skidding on the ground for balance more than stability. With most of Kyu's body weight pushing down on Adam's arm, it would slow the attack to a non damaging speed, if not stop it all together.
As he pushed up, Kyukaku's right arm was already rechambered with another attack. His right hand shot out yet again, opening up half way out into a palm strike. With his elevated position on Adam's arm, it would be more of a straight shot than usual, the heel of his palm aiming directly for Adam's nose. If connected, Kyukaku hoped that the cartilage would snap, and Adam would instinctively follow the snapping back motion of his head, letting go of Kyu and stumbling back with watery eyes.
A Pain Killer he was, but immune to certain bodily functions he wasn't.

Despite his best efforts, Pain Killer couldn't help but be impressed.
Not only had Kyukaku managed to block his blow without taking damage to himself, but he'd done so in a creative and innovative way, managing to "overpower", in a manner of speaking, the much larger fighter's blow in order to bring it to a halt before impact. It was not a move he had encountered before, and thus, required a change in tactics from what Adam would normally do once his attack was blocked. Instead of moving closer to his opponent, he'd make the kid come to him.
The amount of weight Kyu was pushing down on Pain Killer's arm had effectively stopped the blow from landing, but on the flip side, had concentrated the majority of his balance on that point of contact, Adam's arm working to support the younger man. In order to bring Kyu closer, all Pain Killer had to do was stop supporting his weight, and that was exactly what he did, pulling his right arm back suddenly, then jerking it to the outside of their bodies to go around Kyu's grip. This action would cause Tyler to fall forwards, his body no longer supported by Adam's arm, while Adam's left hand pulled the younger man closer to him, his right foot sliding forwards to move himself closer. Together, this would ensure that unless Kyukaku had done some odd, over the shoulder wind up for his palm strike, the smaller boy would be hard pressed to strike Pain Killer in the nose, given their new chest-to-chest positioning.
Of course, Adam would not stop there, as the lack of distance between the two virtually insured that someone was going to be hurt in the next few moments, and Pain Killer was going to do his damnedest to make sure it was Tyler. His right hand shot forward, grabbing the back of Kyu's shirt near his shoulderblade, trapping the younger man's left arm against his side. With his newfound grip, Pain Killer would spin to his left, relying on sheer weight and strength, as well as his stable footing compared to Kyukaku's in order to muscle the boy to turn with him, before suddenly pitching forward as hard and fast as possible, using the momentum of the turn to aid in his attempted slam. Should everything go as planned, the two would crash into the ground, Tyler landing back first with the much larger Pain Killer landing on top of him. How the fight would go from there, however, would depend on how Kyukaku reacted to the move.

Kyukaku felt his weight dropping forward as Adam began to retract his arm. He was surprised that Pain Killer was so quick to react, especially before the palm strike landed. While it was true that the majority of Kyu's weight was on Adam's arm, his feet never fully left the ground. Kyukaku would fall forward, but not at the uncontrolled rate Adam would expect.
With his right hand already up at his shoulder, similiar to many punches, Kyukaku wouldn't get enough momentum for the palm attack. Instead, Kyu's palm would push to the inside, his elbow lashing out with the added force of the forward momentum. The point of Kyu's elbow would strike Adam directly in the cheekbone, the lower forearm also colliding the the left side of the bridge of Adam's nose. Preferrably this would cause Adam to stumble back as planned.
If it didn't however, Kyukaku would find his right arm being held up, pressed against Adam's face as his left shoulder was trapped under Adam's arm. While they were held close, Kyukaku wasn't completely trapped. With his left arm, Kyukaku threw his elbow back as far as he could with his shoulder trapped, sending a very short uppercut to the inside of Adam's right hip, striking him just above the groin in the abdomen. Before that move was finished, Kyukaku's right knee would be rising, attempting to strike the hip. They were too close however, and the knee would end up striking Adam's upper left thigh. Regardless, Kyukaku hoped this would cause distance, as Kyukaku struck prime targets of balance: the hip area, the leg, and the head. It was natural for the body to move accordingly with any of the targets, and with three moving the same way, Kyu hoped it would be enough to gain some distance.
If all else failed, Kyukaku's elbow would slide back to the right, his arm looping around Adam's left arm atop the elbow joint. He would raise his upper body the best he could, putting pressure on the joint. If Kyukaku was still to be slammed to the ground, Adam's hand would hit before anything else, and with the pressure on the arm he had a good chance of injuring the elbow joint with that much body weight going down.

OOC: Alright, I made you wait long enough. If you can name the move I'm "attempting", I'll give you an exalt. IC: Kyukaku's palm strike had fallen off course, thanks to the new close quarters the two were in, as despite his sense of balance, Pain Killer's pull would ensure the distance between the two was closed. However, there was little the Senior student could do about the elbow heading towards his face, especially as his own pull was aiding the smaller man's attack. With such few options, Pain Killer did the first thing that came to mind, pulling his head back and turning his face to the right, moving with the blow in order to soften it, as well as to allow the strike to continue on it's trajectory. Since Adam hadn't taken the full force that Kyu likely intended and turned his face, the elbow would continue on a short way before the Junior could retract the attack. Not a long time, to be sure, but it was a moment's respite, at least. Without skipping a beat, Pain Killer's left hand slid up to Kyukaku's armpit, grabbing the smaller man's shoulder from the underside and pushing it to Adam's right, turning Kyukaku slightly to his left, and shifting him so that Kyu's elbow would rest on his right shoulder. In the same motion, Pain Killer's right hand would release it's hold on Kyu's left arm and retract towards him slightly, moving as fast as he was able to in order to bring his arm up to Kyu's neck. Despite how it may have looked, there was no intention for a choke, and whether Kyu tucked in his chin made no difference to Pain Killer. Regardless, his right hand would rest grab hold of Kyu's shirt, near his left trapezius muscle. As soon as his grip was established, Adam's left hand would let go of Kyu's arm, moving swiftly to place his palm against Kyu's upper back, between his shoulder blades. With both arms, Pain Killer would push with his left and pull with his right to bend Kyukaku over slightly, before suddenly driving the other way, using the momentum as well as his strength to provide the lift needed to take Kyukaku off his feet. If all went as planned, Kyu would lift into the air, before being violently slammed into the ground back first, the impact mainly centred around his upper back, neck and head. Of course, the momentum would force Adam to fall to his knees to Kyu's right side, but ideally, the impact would stun the younger man long enough for Adam to capitalize.

(OOC: I know you know I know, but just so everyone else knows I know, it was the Rock Bottom. You know?)
The elbow connected, but it wasn't the force Kyukaku had hoped for. When Kyukaku attempted to pull it back to position after sliding a bit too far forward, his limb got wedged upon Adam's shoulder. His hand began to reach up towards Kyu's neck, the smaller fighter putting his chin to his chest to prevent what he thought was a choke.
In the split second Adam moved his arm again to the small of his back, Kyukaku knew what was coming. The two of them had watched proffesional wrestling every week while they were roomates, possibly the only thing they ever did together besides throw punches. Kyukaku's weight was throw forward, just before a backwards lift came his way.
Kyukaku jumped with the motion, bringing both knees to his chest. His left hand shot out, grabbing a handful of hair near Adam's scalp in what would appear as a futile attempt to keep from being slammed. Kyukaku's right foot would shoot out, his heel driving directly atop the left thigh of Adam. One of two things would happen, Adam's knee would become seriously injured if too tightly planted, or more likely his foot would move back from the sudden attack, becoming off balance for a moment.
In that moment, Kyukaku pulled violently forward on the hair. As He'd fall to the ground, his head already tucked in so his upper back taking the brunt of the force. Some of his momentum was driven back as well as down, so while it certainly hurt, he didn't break anything. As Kyu fell, Adam would be forced to do the same, his body forced to follow thanks to the human anatomy. Kyu's left foot, which wasn't extended like his right, would plant on the ground as his leg bent at an angle. As Adam would follow Kyu to the ground, he'd find his head pulled directly into Kyu's left knee.
Kyukaku had little choice but to be smashed into the ground. Adam, with both hands tied up, also didn't look like he'd be avoiding anything either. Kyukaku would hurt, he'd just make sure he wasn't the only one.

Once Kyu was in the air, Pain Killer felt a moment's satisfaction. No matter what happened now, the kid would be feeling some pain upon landing, unless he managed to get his feet under him again. That was unlikely, though, considering the force Pain Killer was putting into the move, aided by the fact he was using his own body weight to aid his momentum. However, even the best plans often go awry, and this seemed to be no exception. The sudden impact Adam felt against his left leg surprised and frustrated him, the larger student having developed a hatred for blows below his waist, which was the most common targets aimed for when facing a smaller opponent.
Despite his previous intentions, Adam couldn't help but be happy with his new positioning. Falling on top of Kyukaku wasn't planned, but in the end, would limit the smaller fighter's mobility considerably, to the point where he would have a hard time avoiding anything Pain Killer threw at him. As the two fell towards the ground, Pain Killer's left hand would slide off of Kyu's back, as for his move to be effective, his hand couldn't be trapped underneath Kyukaku's body, cushioning even a small amount of the impact being counterproductive to his plan.
Kyukaku's hand hold on his hair, as well as the pull that followed was confusing, as Adam imagined that the smaller man would want no part of being trapped underneath the stronger fighter. Despite the limited resistance Adam gave, he found his head pulled from being behind Kyu's right tricep towards the younger man's chest. As a result, the angle of which his elbow was against Kyu's chest and neck changed, the point positioned just where Kyu's chin and chest were touching. His left hand, however, would palm the ground as he fell, the arm bending slightly so that the joint wasn't strained from the impact, but keeping him from falling uncontrollably.
However, the very nature of the slam would be Kyukaku's undoing, at least for the intended knee to the face. Adam had fully intended on falling forward with his foe to slam him into the ground, rather than just throwing him to the ground. As such, even though Kyu succeeded in pulling Adam's head towards his chest, the larger man's torso would remain in the way of Kyu's knee. If Kyukaku managed to sneak his knee underneath Pain Killer, the landing would be painful for his ribs, but hardly the same as if he had landed face first. However, with a good deal of Pain Killer's weight being driven into Kyukaku's jaw and chest, causing a good deal of pain and hopefully, giving the younger man something to think about while Adam pulled his left knee towards himself, bringing him into a kneeling position at Kyukaku's right side.
Rather than let such an opportunity pass him by, Pain Killer would continue pinning Kyukaku to the ground with his right forearm and elbow, while sending a powerful left cross aimed towards the smaller man's forehead.

Half of his plan had worked out. Sadly, it was the half that helped to screw him over. The leg went out, but Adam was able to keep his head from slamming into his knee. When Adam moved his hand off Kyu's back, the pull of Adam's hair would end up turning his entire body to the left, now that there was nothing holding his torso in place.
Kyukaku fell on his left side, his body naturally falling into the best Judo fall he could do, his body spreading out the shock. Still, with the pull of Adam's head, Kyukaku would be forced to land on his shoulder. It wasn't comfortable, it felt better than falling on the vertebrae. Due to the turn, Adam's arm wouldn't fall directly on Kyu as he hoped. Instead, Adam's arm would slide off Kyu's chest, landing on the ground in front of him. With both their momentum falling to Adam's right, Kyukaku kept the motion moving.
His now free right arm would swipe outwards, striking Adam's left hand in the wrist, causing his hand to slip out from underneath him. The firmer he held it, the more painful it would be on the joint. Kyu's hold on the hair would continue to pull, using all the momentum to pull Adam all the way over him with the assisted use of his legs on the midsection. Rather than using mass, Kyukaku would roll out from underneath Adam who would land on his back or side. Kyukaku would then be on top, and he'd deliver a quicker right cross to Adam's jaw before springing backwards to gain distance.

OOC: Only took me 8 days, or so. Not bad for a timely reply.
IC:
It seemed that Adam had misjudged how agile Kyukaku was, or at least, how determined the younger man was to pull on his hair. The moment his left hand was no longer holding Kyu in place, the smaller boy had begun to turn in the air, frustrating and angering the self-proclaimed Pain Killer even further, and causing him to begin to lose sight of his goal for this fight.
However, in the end, it would appear that both combatants had misjudged something, as it would seem Kyu had overestimated his own strength, or underestimated Pain Killer's desire to live up to his moniker. The younger man's right arm would travel between the two fighter's bodies in the mere moments before Pain Killer's torso crashed into Kyukaku's, a direct result of being pulled to his side by his hair as well as the fact that his right arm would no longer break his fall beforehand. Given how Pain Killer had fully intended to begin swinging with his left arm, it was in the process of lifting from the ground once Kyu struck it, making its rise look awkward, but doing little other than that.
However, the most important fact at this moment would be the motion of Adam's right hand, instinctively moving, in the time it took Kyu to swing his arm and then begin rolling, to grab Kyukaku's left wrist, bringing the force behind Kyukaku's pull down to next to nothing. Given how the boy had already started rolling, he'd be hard pressed to suddenly change direction, however, Pain Killer didn't intend on giving him the chance. His left hand would push on Kyu's right shoulder, ensuring that the kid would continue turning until he was on his stomach, while at the same time, Adam would pull his right knee underneath himself, bringing him to a kneeling position beside the younger man.
Once Kyu reached his stomach, Adam would slam his right knee into the small of the boy's back, pinning him to the ground while at the same time, causing a good deal of pain to begin with. With Kyukaku suitably neutralized at the moment, Pain Killer would dig his thumb into the underside of Kyu's left wrist, causing a good deal of pain as long as the younger man had his hand clenched in Adam's hair. However, even during this time, Adam's left hand would not be idle, moving up to grasp Kyu's hair at the back of his head and push his face into the ground, hampering, though not cutting off, his breathing and putting pressure on the boy's face.

(OOC: I think I got the positioning right in my head. You know where to find me if I misinterpreted something.)
As usual, Pain Killer wasn't as easy to manipulate momentum as it usually was for Kyukaku. Whether it was something the larger man was naturally good at, or if it was partly in fact to the constant fights with Kyu before hand would be anyone's guess.
Adam still fell atop Kyukaku, the pull not getting the right amount of force thanks to Adam's counter-pull. Kyu would keep ahold of Adam's hair regardless, refusing to let got even as his wrist began to feel the pressure of Adam's thumb. Kyukaku's escape wouldn't go as planned, though his momentum still began to roll him as Adam began to push as well.
Despite this, Pain Killer would find Kyukaku harder to roll than a log. Kyu placed his right hand in front of his chest, providing a leverage point to keep himself from bein fully turned onto his stomach. This, with the grip still on Adam's hair would end up having Kyu remain on his left side. As a result, when Adam intended to slam his right knee into Kyu's back, he would end up striking Kyu's kidney. A painful strike in itself, but nothing overly damaging as there wouldn't be much momentum from a kneeling position.
However, when Adam reared his leg back for the knee, Kyukaku was moving as well. His right hand lifted off the ground as he left leg slid up and his right planted firmly, providing a solid base to prevent himself from being turned. As his hand shot backwards, it would form into a fist, with the index and middle finger portruding more than the others. Instead of strikin with the top knuckles, the middle knuckles of those two fingers would slam backwards into the face. With Kyu's hand still on Adam's head, it would take no more than a mere glance back to strike his target very swiftly, as he didn't need much power when striking the soft tissue of Adam's right eyeball. Both arms in use, Adam's eye would instantly tear and began to swell in a black eye.

OOC: Hate me all you want, but I'm back now. I'm up for finishing this if you are.
IC:
Frustrated, a large frown made its way onto the self-proclaimed Pain Killer's face. As always, the kid was crafty, moreso than Adam tended to give him credit for, which made their fights much more difficult than he expected.
Goddamn kid doesn't know when to quit.
There was little the Senior student could do about the fist heading his way, in terms of evading the blow. Despite the size difference, Kyu's grip on his hair was a good one, making it difficult to move his head out of the way in time. However, his left hand was in a perfect position to interfere with Kyukaku's attacking limb. Since the younger student hadn't been rolled over to his stomach, Pain Killer's hand had remained on Kyukaku's shoulder on the very arm he was attacking from. Thus, it was a simple matter for the larger boy to pull his hand up his opponent's arm, then thrust his palm against Kyu's tricep, throwing his aim off and forcing the blow to strike Pain Killer in the forehead, rather than the eye.
Even for a man who prided himself on being able to take a beating, such a direct shot caused Adam's vision to dim briefly, requiring him to blink hard in order to clear the cobwebs, relying on the grip each of his hands had on his former roommate's arms to keep him from following up immediately. The thumb on his left hand dug into Kyukaku's tricep, right above the elbow, while the fingers slid across to grip the inside of the joint as well as the lower half of Kyu's bicep.
The two boys seemed to be at a standstill, for the moment. With Kyukaku bracing himself against Pain Killer's attempt to roll him to his stomach, and their arms effectively cancelling each other out, they were left at a stalemate unless something changed. Rather than wait for Kyu to make a move, Pain Killer would once again go on the offensive, lifting his right leg and sliding it across Kyukaku's torso, until his shin rested atop the smaller boy's kidney. The larger boy then would drive his weight onto his right leg, pulling with his left arm suddenly in order to turn Kyu onto his back. With Kyu's legs in front of him and to his left, there was little keeping the younger man from rolling the other way, the motion causing Pain Killer's right knee to drive into Kyu's stomach, pinning his torso to the ground.
Adam's left hand would push Kyukaku's arm to the ground, pinning it by the elbow, in an awkward looking but still effective grip. There hadn't been time to adjut his grip, but in a moment, that wouldn't matter, as Adam's left knee whipped forward to land on top of Kyukaku's right bicep, removing the need for his hand to hold the limb down.
Should everything have gone according to plan, Pain Killer's left hand would release Kyu's arm, and instead make it's way to the smaller boy's face, his palm smothering Kyukaku's nose and mouth, while his fingers and thumb gripped his cheeks tightly. With a bit of force, Pain Killer would hold the boy in place, waiting for the oxygen deprivation to take its toll.

(OOC: As long as you don't keep me waiting another month...)
Kyukaku's two knuckles rapped against bone rather than the soft tissue of the eye. While it was still a solid hit, that fact mattered little when battling the "Pain Killer."
And that's what you always bring out of me--my perserverance, my unwillingness to quit.
While Adam began to recover from the blow, Kyukaku knew better than to allow the larger man the time, rather than continue moving himself. Kyu wiggled his right arm, attempting to get Adam's arm off of his. He made a fist, planning on striking underneath the armpit in a pressure point. Consequently, Adam' pulled Kyu's arm to the ground, causing Kyu's fist to backhand into the side of Adam's face. It wasn't powerful, as it was Adam's pull rather than Kyu's own motion, but it would still cause some disorientation to the larger fighter.
As he was being pulled to his back, Kyu scooted up, causing Adam's right leg to rest atop his hip rather than stomach. With one leg atop of him already, Kyu began to move as he felt the shift in Adam's weight. As his old roomate would be scooting his left left leg up, Kyukaku straightened his left arm and pushed as hard as he could, pushing Adam's weight forward and to the left. At the same time, Kyukaku would buck his hips, bringing his right knee up and striking Adam in the hips. Shifting his own center of gravity and disrupting Adam's, he would slide off Kyu's body.
With his torso freed, Kyukaku would continue to rise to his feet, bringing his right arm to his chest as Adam would likely brace himself. Still holding Adam's head with his left hand, however, Kyukaku would pull back, pulling Adam's head back as well as pulling himself forward thanks to the weight difference. If all went according to plan, Kyukaku would raise his left knee, striking Adam in the back of the head.

OOC: Would I do that to you? ... Don't answer that.
IC:
If Kyu's previous attempts to get free had frustrated the self-proclaimed Pain Killer, the current ones were making Adam downright livid. As far as he was concerned, the kid should have given up long ago, but seemed to have this annoying "never say die" attitude, something that didn't make sense to the Senior student. After all, if you were going to lose already, then what was the point in continuing to fight? He didn't know the answer, but he could never ask Kyukaku.
As his left leg moved to pin down Kyu's arm, the smaller boy suddenly bucked, throwing Pain Killer off balance, causing his aim to fall several inches to the left. As a result, his knee fell upon his own hand, pressing it against Kyu's bicep in an uncomfortable fashion for the older student. His right knee slid off of Kyu's hip, exactly as Kyukaku had planned, yet if the younger boy attempted to stand up as he planned, he would find that his elbow and upper arm were still pinned to the ground, making such a feat impossible without freeing himself.
Pain Killer, however, would not let such a thing happen idly. His legs were already in motion, the right moving first to rest on top of Kyu's chest, pinning his torso in place and making it harder for him to breathe. His left knee would slide off his hand, moving the small distance to the side to pin the boy's arm down at the bicep as planned before. His right hand would continue to squeeze Kyu's wrist, in the attempt to at least bruise it by now, after having such a grip for so long, and "convince" Kyukaku to release his hair. However, with the frustration rising, Adam was beginning to forget his game plan from the start, his goal of keeping things from going too far clouding over. As such, rather than attempt to simply choke Kyukaku out, Adam would swing his left fist in a hook towards the smaller boy's face, intent on slamming it into his nose. One shot might not put Kyukaku away, but Adam was more than willing to keep swinging until the younger boy was unconscious or gave up.

Kyukaku realized he wouldn't be standing up, yet, when he felt not less, but more weight pin his right arm down. That didn't discourage him, though. He aimed to get Adam off his torso, and now that he had it would be easier to keep him off. As Kyu's hips returned to the ground he rotated to the right, bringing himself to his side once again.
Kyu slid his right knee up to his chest, beginning to turtle himself. The turn made it more comfortable for his shoulder joints, though Adam was still stabbing at his wrist. It hurt more at first, but once it started to bruise the pain would become dull and fade from his mind--for now. He tucked his chin down, postioning his head between his two straightened arms that would form an awkward V postion around his head.
When Pain Killer tried to pin Kyu down, he'd find his leg slid down at the side yet again, due to yet another positioning change on Kyu's part. Thanks to Adam pinning his own hand, Kyukaku wouldn't have to worry about the hook until this was at least established. Once sent, the fist would have to travel all the way around or between the arms for an awkward strike that would lose most its significant power once it would reach Kyu's skull, instead of face. At around the same time Adam's fist would strike, Kyu would have his, as well.
As Kyukaku turtled his defenses, his left knee would also pull in. Instead of keeping Adam's body from gettin too close like his right leg, his left leg would move higher up to slam into the exposed right set of ribs beneath his right arm. As long as Adam kept ahold of Kyukaku, he would repeat to slam his knee into Adam's ribs. Gaining extra power, he would scoot upwards on his hips and shoulder with each strike. Albeit not moving too far due to Adam holding him down, the small motions would help to disrupt Adam's aim as well.

OOC: I blame you for not reminding me.
IC:
The moment Kyu's knee slammed into Pain killer's back, the larger boy seemingly snapped out of his growing anger, his eyes widening slightly with surprise at the sudden pain. He hadn't expected things to go this far, though he couldn't truly feel surprised at the fact things got carried away.
Things keep up like this, and someone's going to get hurt for real.
Despite his earlier words, Adam had no desire to seriously injure his former roommate, which left him in an odd situation. Should things continue as they were, the two of them would wind up just slugging it out on the ground until one was unable to move. While certainly fun, that sort of fighting was unnecessarily dangerous, at the moment.
In one swift movement, Pain Killer leaned back, lifting his left knee off of Kyu's arm, while swinging his own left hand at the smaller man's left arm, the one still holding Adam by his hair, intent on forcing it to release. The sudden change in tactics would likely take Tyler off guard, giving the move a better chance of succeeding in its purpose. Once free, Adam would stand and backpedal his legs quickly, working to put a few feet of distance between the two before the fight began anew, waiting until he managed to do so before speaking.
"Alright, I've seen enough. You're strong enough."
Giving the younger man his usual scowl, Pain Killer wiped his face with the back of his right hand, still smarting from the elbow he'd taken almost head on. There wasn't much else for him to say at the moment, especially as he wanted to make sure the kid didn't get any funny ideas of keeping the brawl going while Pain Killer wasn't ready. As far as he was concerned, their fight was over for now.
