Aden’s mouth widened as he let out a yawn. It was early morning and he was walking to Hircine. The sun was rising slowly and an orange glow could be seen in the distance. It shone in Aden’s eyes as he continued walking on the sidewalk. The chill of the morning made his breath show and his nose go numb along with his earlobes. He walked hunched over slightly, trying to keep warm. He was tired and it could be seen on his face. The bags under his eyes were darker than normal and his face had a dull glare to it.
Aden continued walking. He had a green jacket zippered over a blue T and black jeans. He wore a pair of old sneakers along with his single dog tag around his neck. He had no hat, meaning he was losing heat from the area and he kept his hands in his coat pockets rather than in gloves. His backpack was on one shoulder, slightly sagging down every now and then, causing Aden to fit it back into comfort once again. Ever so often he would take his hands out of his pockets and bite his nails. The cold stressed him out.
He followed the route he had mapped out into his head until he finally reached the school. Many other students made their way into the school. It was understandable. Many people didn’t enjoy the brisk air and Aden was one of them. The sun was rising, much higher than it was last time he looked. The sky was getting bright and soon the sun would warm the city. Aden walked into the school to get warm. Winter was going to be a bitch.
Aden attended his classes and, afterwards, headed outside to feel the now warm air on his face. It was calm and soothing. The sun was now bright and the day was ripe for the picking, but Aden wasn’t one to seize the day. Aden had left his bag in his locker as the days events made it so it was of no use to him. He was thinking about heading back home, but it was too nice of a day to sit inside.
Aden turned his attention to the courtyard. Walking towards it, he decided to sit on one of the nearby benches and observe the features that were around in Hircine; the people and environment to be exact. He sat their, basking in the warmth, observing the passers by. It was a nice day, but a little boring. Aden turned his gaze to the sky. Maybe something would happen and give put some fun into his life. One could only hope.

It had been a cold day. This morning the extremely thin girl had piled the clothing on her small body and was grateful for the heated seats in her Mercedes. Her father was back home which meant that she was under strict watch. Elicia was anorexic, and so her father was always forcing her to eat when he was home, and it was hard for her. But she still found ways around it, and she used all the tricks of the trade to help her remain skinny. And she was weighing in currently at ninety one pounds she was insanely skinny and it showed. Even though now that school was over she was still bundled up. A pink long john underneath her shirt that kept her a little warm, over that a long sleeve pink sweater and over that a white ski jacket with blue jeans and sneakers on the bottom. She was cold, she hated winter it was cold and rainy when she lived in Washington, now here it was just plain cold and the biting wind that came off the ocean was even worse.
She was't ready to go home yet. HOme meant her father, and while they got along most of the time they got along very well except when he tried to make her eat and right now she just didn't want another fight. so she crossed into the courtyard seeing a nice empty bench just under a tree. It would offer a bit of sun and some shade. She sat down opening her messenger bag she pulled out the large tome from her Trig class and began working on homework while sipping her water. Her short brown hair was always styled in a kind of trendy spunky way, and she carried herself with a grace that was hard to find, but was natural. Her green eyes scanned the book as her left hand worked across the paper working on her math problems alone, no one really talked to her. The girls pretty much left her alone, and it wasn't like she was pretty, or at least she didn't think so, so she didn't see why a boy would want to talk to her. She was just killing time til she had to go home and face the music.

Aden had nothing to do that particular day. His home was becoming duller each day and the thought of just sitting at home didn’t appeal to him. His eyes stared at the clouds passing by. He looked for those subtle shapes in each cloud making it resemble a familiar object. His eyes began to go out of focus and the eyelids closed, sending his mind into the darkness with the orange glow of the sun. His mind started to drift and the sounds of the outside world seemed to grow lower and lower until he heard them no longer.
It was calm and quiet. He was in his own world and he hated it. He hated the quiet. It made him feel too alone. He needed to be around people and things, but inside his own head never really felt right. He began to stir and move slightly. He soon opened his eyes as the noise of the outside seemed to grow louder.
Aden stood up. If nothing was going to happen today then he might as well go home and finish it off, hoping for a better day tomorrow. He began to walk forward, passing a tree along his way. As he walked by the tree, his left foot caught a large, strong root, protruding from the ground. As his foot caught onto the branch, Aden lost his balance. He fell into the grass, softening the blow with his arms.
As he pushed himself up again, obviously not happy about what had just happened, he bore a frown on his face. He brushed the dirt and dust off of his clothes and only then noticed the girl now beside him. Was she sitting there all along? She had a book out and seemed to have been reading it. Realizing that he had just fallen right in front of her, blood rushed to his head. He looked at her. It was cold this morning, but had warmed up for the afternoon. It made Aden wonder why she was wearing such bulky clothes still.
“Oh, sorry about that. Lost my footing.” He said with a stupid grin on his face. It was hard to look good after something like that.

Elicia sat on her bench having pulled her feet up onto the bench so she could sit in an Indian Style. Her trig book open to the chapter that she had to do for homework as much as she didn't want to. She sighed softly rubbing one of her temples. Even right after class this stuff didn't always make sense. She was very good at math it was the homework that she did first. But right now she had her mind on other things. She knew that a lot of people would be angry with her today she hadn't eaten anything but an apple at lunch and that's because Deacon had made her eat. But she was learning to eat.. very very very slowly and she couldn't eat much if anything at times, but she tried, .. sometimes.
Suddenly she heard an oath from the ground at her feet and her currently matching green eyes looked up. One thing she wasn't ready for the world to know bout was the fact that her eyes were not the same color. That was the one thing she couldn't live with. She just couldn't. Her eyes focused on a boy that had tripped over something she assumed and fallen to the ground. she watched as he got up and began to appologize for her. It wasn't like he was bothering her though. I mean, sure he had tripped but it wasn't like he had fallen on her or messed up her homework.
"Don't worry about it." she said with a soft smile and a slight shrug of her too thin shoulders. "Be careful." she said as she went back to her homework assuming he would go on. She never figured that anyone would actually want to talk to her, after all she was nothing special just a girl.

Aden gave a nervous chuckle as the blood continued to flow to his face. He hadn’t been this embarrassed is a long time. He continued to dust the dirt off of him and was ready to walk away until he looked down at the girl. She looked a little shy. He wasn’t completely able to tell, but he thought he saw a hint of it. He thought it was cute. An uncontrollable smile came across his face. It was cute. He didn’t know why, but he just saw it as such. It looked very awkward for him to just stand there and it kept the blood in his head.
He looked at her, still wondering why she was bundles up, so. She had a pale complexion, but all it did was fascinate Aden about her. He never believed in the whole love at first sight, but he was definitely feeling a mix of emotions suddenly and he didn’t know why. He never really tried t talk to a girl All of his friends were always boys. He found he related to them more, obviously.
She was reading a trig book. Trig wasn’t Aden’s strong suit. He was more of a philosophy man. Always wondering about what drives us and what really makes us strive for the future. It was what helped him continue on, along with the occasional conflict. He liked being on his toes. It gave him a sense of urgency which he thrived for.
“er…I’m sure you get this a lot, but you really are cute,” he said with a shy smile himself. Aden turned his eyes away, feeling too nervous to continue the conversation. He was able to stick his hand out towards the girl, however.
“…I’m Aden…Allett. It’s a pleasure.”

It was cool outside But Deacon didn’t care, all he cared about was finding Elicia who was proving to be more of a challenge then it normally was. She was normally in the library but for some reason he could not find her there today. He had a few things to ask her as well as his normally questions about math which was constantly kicking his ass. The young and handsome Spaniard could fight, cook, read, write, even play a few instruments but when it came to math he was constantly getting his ass kick.
He came out into the court yard giving his arms a stretch way out to his sides. He figured if he could not find her that he would spend some time just to relax for a few moments until his frost blue eyes saw his Elicia over in the distance and his face lit up with joy. Immediately he began to run toward her not even paying attention to the young man infront of her with his hand outstretched. “El Elicia mi amor ... donde le tienen sido.. He estado mirando por todas partes para usted*” he shouted as he came closer relieved to find her
When he got closer to the bench he looked over to the other young man at his side and then back at Elicia seeing the book in her hands “Ohhh…I’m sorry, I hope I am not interrupting anything” he said having now idea what was going on between the to.
*Elicia my love...where have you been..I've been looking all over for you

Elicia blushed deeply. Cute? She had never really been called that. At least not outside of Deacon but Deacon called her pretty or beautiful not cute. Maybe she was, she didn't know, but if she was right, the people on tv would say cue and it was like the teenage way of saying pretty. She looked up at him, her face was a deep red and her green eyes soft. he then held out his hand to her and told her that his name was Aden. she blushed again, she wasn't used to people actually wanting to get to know her. She liked being able to fade into the background and it was easy when she was surrounded by big busted cheerleaders. Her hand gently came out to shake his, it was small and slender with long and gently manacured fingers.
"Elicia Alexander." she said softly in her gentle voice. She held no accent, she might have been born in Italy but she was raised in America and had no accent to speak of. Her hand slipped from his grip gently and fell back to her lap.
"Are you okay? From your trip?" she asked softly.
El Elicia mi amor ... donde le tienen sido.. He estado mirando por todas partes para usted
Deacon's voice rang out, and her head rose again her eyes shooting in the direction of his runing form. She smiled softly at him following him as he ran the rest of the way to her and then asked if he was interupting anything.
"Appologize, mi corazón, yo salí para un poco de sol, yo pensé que usted tuvo que trabajar esta tarde." she said softly in her beautiful accent that could come out of nowhere when she spoke spanish though it helped spending so much time with her neighbor Deacon who was Spanish and spoke it so perfectly.
"Deacon this is Aden, we just met." she said with a soft smile as she scooted over on the bench so they could both sit if they wanted to.

Aden’s eyes adjusted in the direction of Elicia. He didn’t hear a name like that often and it felt fresh and new to be speaking to someone with such a name. It made his boring life lighten up ever so slightly. He gave a small smile as her hand touched his. Her hand was small yet soft and felt nice to the touch.
His face flushed red again after her query. The trip caused no physical harm, but his pride was broken for the time being. His face felt warm from the flush of blood now there. It wasn’t easy to impress a girl after you have fallen at their feet. It wasn’t the best day for him to take a clumsy fall, obviously.
“I’m fine. Just a little emotionally scarred now,” Aden said jokingly.
A voice spoke out from afar in a language Aden wasn’t accustomed to. His head turned to the man standing away from the two. He approached them. Aden assumed he knew Elicia. He apologized, as he believed he was interrupting something. Aden had to admit it was unexpected and confused him slightly to his chances of possibly knowing the girl further. He wasn’t completely sure if they were friends or something more…intimate.
Elicia responded to the man in, what Aden assumed was, the same dialect he did not understand. Elicia introduced the two. She told him that the man’s name was Deacon and told Deacon his own name and how they had just met.
Aden took out his hand once again, giving a “nice to meet you,” as he did. After greeting Deacon, Aden noticed Elicia move over, taking it as an invitation to sit down. He sat beside her, giving her a friendly grin as he did so. He looked at the two and spoke to both of them. “So, how do you two know each other?”

Santiago had been walking around the courtyard for a little while now, he was exasperated due to his boredom, he was hoping to find something interesting to do or someone interesting to talk to. Though at the moment his search was in vain, thinking to himself as music filtered out all the sounds of the outside world (What is there to do around this place, it seems to me that most of the kids around here stick to their own friends, might make it a little hard to get to know people...Eh, we'll see how it goes.), finding an empty bench he sat down so he could have a vantage point to scan the courtyard for anything interesting that was going on.
After five minutes of not seeing anything he stood back up and began to walk around again, removing one earphone from his right ear, he let the outside noise be absorbed by his ear, it felt a bit refreshing to hear the sound of the breeze, though the feel of it wasn't the best, thats why he was clad with a thick black zip-up hoody, under he wore a black tee with a white beater under that, he had a pair of black jeans and black air-force ones. Walking about somewhat lost in thought he stared blankly ahead of him as he walked past random faces he didn't know, as he walked past a bench he caught a hint of a familiar tongue that he knew like the back of his hand, but in his obliviousness he accidentally bumped into a young man that seemed to have just arrived to greet his friend.
As Santiago stumbled forward a bit, he regained his footing and turned around to look at the young man who he had just bumped into, since he heard what he assumed to be his voice speak in Spanish, he offered a sincere apology...
"Perdon por no ver te amigo. Estaba un poco perdido."
He gave the young man a nervous smile, turning his head to his right he saw another young man, who seemed to have taken a stumble himself, in-front of him sitting on the bench was a young lady, Santiago felt as if he had interrupted a meeting of some sort so he offered another apology to the other two people present, this time in English, not knowing if the girl or the other young man spoke Spanish...
"Sorry for interrupting your conversation, I hope I'm not intruding."
Since Santiago had stumbled into their conversation he decided to introduce himself properly before proceeding on his search for some activity, or maybe he had just fallen into something he wasn't sure, maybe his introduction would reveal if he had found some new friendly faces...
"Forgive me for my rudeness. My name is Santiago Castrillon, I'm new here at Hircine. It's a pleasure to meet you all."
