Bear sat on the roof top, looking out over the rising sun. His grandmother used to say that the sun would rise and greet the day and would its warmth was like a hug from god. He sighed. She was dead now,so was grandpa. He wished he could see them again, but he couldn`t.Not until his work on this earth was done and that was far from now.
He stood, saluted the sun. Good morning god, just another one of your soldiers reporting for duty.Say hi to mum, dad, grandma and grandad for me. he thought. He sighed again. He looked to the traing dummy he had set up. Back to work
He started off slow, jabbing and elbows. He then moved up to bigger swings, throwing his weight into it.The dummy rocked back and forth under the pressure of his blows.Bear grabbed the head and head butted it.He tried a few grapples and tosses.
He fell back onto his arse.He was tired. He was sweating. He looked up at the dummy. "If i could only take hits like you can" he said aloud to the dummy. He laughed and sipped his water bottle. The sun was over the horizen now,but not by much. He sighed again. "It`s gonna be a long day.."
