Jesse listened quietly, watching his face. Just the little movements, his head nodded, to reassure himself. She caressed his hand lightly with her own, The moved forward and kissed his shoulder lightly. She shook slightly, his hands masking it. her eyes darted from wound to wound. She simply didn't know what to do, he seemed so calm about being hurt, just, brushing it off. She freed one hand and ran the sleeve of her sweater over her eyes.
"H-how badly are you hurt?" She asked quietly, to stop her voice from shaking. Tears threatened to spill. Surely, he was smart enough to know that if he was mortally wounded, insurance or not, he'd go to the hospital. She didn't know is Kazuki has his Doctors PhD, but she knew she didn't. She scarcely handled more than cuts and bruises. She bit her lip as she looked up him, his messy hair, tired face.
"Shamino, don't you think for a second I'm going to leave you till your better." She said, a bit more firmly than she intended, but nonetheless it was said. She held his hands tightly, then moved one to his face to brush his hair lightly. In a softer tone, "I'm just glad, you not any more hurt than you are..." She smiled and him and moved forward again to kiss his cheek lightly. "But yes, i will stay with you," She looked over at Kazuki for a second, "If im allowed." She sniffled against quietly, and moved his hand from his hair to her eyes, wiping them quietly. She leaned her head on his shoulder, and sighed.
why do i have a feeling, your lying?

Er... Uh...
He looked down to Jesse, using his other hand to gently pat the top of her head, then slowly, with his cheeks slightly flushed, turned his neck so that he would be able to face Kazuki. He gave the most gentle of shrugs, and mouthed: "Jesus." He said, before Kazuki could, "Of course you can. We'll only be about a few hours, slip out quietly, and everything'll be fine. I just need to relax here and recover a bit..." And let these tranq's go through my system, my god. he thought. "And I would assume you wouldn't leave my side... As pained as it is, right now." He let out a small 'heheh' as he leaned down, kissing the top of her head twice, caressing down her locks of hair before gently touching her cheek. "Thank you for coming." He whispered.
Some how he would have to manage to get the gun out of the building, along with his girlfriend, and him, and get city blocks away to his highrise penthouse which may or may not be filled with mobsters already. He couldn't make any calls until he was home, and every hour he recuperated in the club was an hour wasted trying to defend himself and find the sons of bitches who had hit him in the first place. With Jesse at his side, he'd need to be relaxed and calm, and caring throughout the night as well.
He was in for a long one.

Nodding, though there was already no need, he did so simply for the sake of showing he had no problem with it either.
"As he said, there's no problem. Bearing the situation in mind, I've no intention of seeing you worry. However, Shamino, you raise an interesting point. How do you plan on getting home? I mean, you've no car, and I'm guessing that the girl took a cab judging by the camera..."
Shrugging for now, figuring that if there was an answer to the question Shamino would have it laid out already in his head, he left the subject alone as he leaned back into the chair and glanced to the side, watching the camera again a moment as the bar continued to grow busier, he set down his glass on the desk and folded his arms behind his head, stretching out shortly and sighing.
"There anyone you need to call?"

Jesse sat quietly, really unable to say anything. So, she pulled back into her thoughts. Her hand rested on Shamino's forearm, and she seemed to concentrate on it as she racked her brain for answers. Surely he wasn't lying, not about something like this. You can't just go around and say, 'oh i got in a car accident today'. Yet, something pulled at her. Funny how Shamino gets hurt the same time there was an apparent shoot out. She saw the cars on the way there, and the picture of turning police sirens and Ambulance alarm seemed to pull at her. She looked up as Kazuki asked about a ride. Yes, what a predicament. She suddenly thought of something. He was in the passenger seat- where was the driver- and the said automobile? He looked at him slyly and smiled.
Im not such a silly little girl.
Course she wouldn't say anything not now, in front of Kazuki. If she was wrong she would truly embarrass herself, and that was one of the last things she wanted. She needed to help Shamino, and that was her priority.
"Um, i have enough money to get another Taxi to you house...?" She said, letting the idea hang in the air as she looked over at Shamino. Hey, it was an idea.

"I have currency." Shamino said quickly in reply. The thought of leaving so quickly didn't dawn on him, relaxing here would make him seem legitimately innocent, but going home to the warmth of his own bed, and not sticking around in a foreign building with a man he considered once again foreign. He was looking at Kazuki for another second. He remembered watching the man kill, and the happy look on his face afterwards. I turned this man into something, even if it was for a little while. he then looked out of the corner of his eye to Jesse. and her, what will I turn her into? He frowned lightly.
"I suppose leaving to my place would be the most logical, now that I think about it. I'll be back tomorrow before business starts to pay you back." He looked at Kazuki as he said that, then his eyes looked towards his desk, as if gleaning it. Then gave a quarter inch of a nod. "Come, then." Shamino said, standing and holding out his hand to Jesse. It was a good idea.
