because if it doesn't, maybe we could hold an election or something to get one. there was one in the xin universe as well as a school captain, so it might be interesting. if we already have one though, forget i mentioned it.

No. The school captain is the closest thing, Darren Blane. There won't be a student body president. MacMillan won't give any student power at this point, or at least that'd be my guess.

ahh... i just thought that since there was one in varron academy in the xin universe (hanto) maybe there'd be an equivalent here. but what you said makes sense. thanks

By all logic, Darren Blayne would -fundamentally- be the student body president, as the acting captain (even though his position has been broken down by the Watchers).
However, it's an untouched issue here, so I'll let other people voice opinions on it.
Speak, minions.

i see what you mean, but in the Xin universe, they had the school captain, (Kiz) and The student body president (hanto), so i was thinking it might be a cool idea.

I'd say it would be something of a bad time to try. But, if someone was willing, they would need one hell of a P.R. campain to get the votes. And their politics to appeal to the general populace would piss off MacMillan. Or someone else. And at this point, taking a position on anything is dangerous.

Nr 959: Kill Zeke for voting on Kyukaku.
I don't see why it would be awesome. All we got is a guy with a title similar to the pillars. You know, bitch of the system. So ai see no reason for some fancy popularity contest. [Do we even have a Varsity captain?] And on a side-note, I'd never win that pop. contest.

I see... I just thought it would be another step to making this board's world more like the corporal punishment world of xin. But if it wouldn't work here, I guess that makes sense. It could also be a good use of the forum's poll system. but then, using stuff for the sake of using it isn't always the best idea.

MacMillan, at the proboble cost of my own life, I ask: are you going a little nutty there?

Piss off lad. Seriously, we've got enough problems with the Watchmen about. Next you'll want them to walk 'round with stun guns instead of metal batons.

Understand Zeke that the idea is reputable, but on this board, we don't precisely follow the flash. We follow the core idea of the Corporal Punishment System, the School Captain, and we faintly follow the Pillar System, but other than that, we've practically customized ourselves to be something slightly different. The Pillarship is not a collection of the student body's leaders, it's a group of lieutenants that follow the School Captain. These differences are what make us Hircine High.
From what I've seen, the stat-based boards far more well known for attempting to keep to the flash's design as best as possible, where as we tend to differ things for a separate affect, or simply to be more unique. It doesn't make us any better than the other boards by any means, but it certainly makes us what we are.
So while your idea was good and understandable, remember that the question is not "to be more like the Corporal Punishment System on Xin," but rather how we can make this board more of its own body without leaving the realm of the Xin Universe.
